Winter Break.

Dave bought me a bike! Actually, he bought us both one.

We went on a huge ride today, laughing at our sore butts halfway through. I spent a lot of time on my bike as a kid, but I've never had one as an adult.

The basket (ready for a long french breadstick) soon got filled with phones, keys, sunblock, and a football.

I love her!

We rode all the way to a big cafe for brunch. I was reminded that Rocco is not the only boy around here with beautiful tendrils.

We stopped off at the beach on the way back and the boys played a real game of footy, tackling each other wildly. I love this part, when you're over the hump of having to tend to littlies, you can lie with your back on the sand watching them without having to get up, without a care in the world.

(Thanks for the comments on my last post. I'm doing ok. I hope you are too. Maybe being this crazy is the price we pay for being this free.)
